Steering parts

I’ve got various steering bits for sale:

Sierra column with decent universal joints and a proper bearing on bottom of the column. New lock fitted with keys (+ door locks). Column extension, but it will have to be shortened for a book Locost. The bottom joint is a proper universal, not that rubber thingy. I’ve got 2 racks, both Sierra, both shortened. There’s also a selection of track rods, boots, & track rod ends.

Photos to follow later tonight
£40 for the lot.

I think it’s too heavy to post, so I’d prefer pickup. Yes, I’m in Cornwall. I’d consider posting but I’d have to wait until Tuesday (back at work) to weigh it up and work out a price. I’m also going to be in the Bristol area next Friday, so I could bring it there if that’s more convenient.

Cheers

John

I may be interested in the column extension. How much do you want for it? I cant pick it up but am happy to pay the postage.

I'm hoping to keep it all together if I can. It'd be more use to someone who needs all the bits. If there's no takers, I'll consider selling the bits separately later this week

Thought so. It's gone now. After falling into disrepair and being closed it was finally ripped up last year.

There's also the plastic cowlings that go with the steering column.

I'll try to get a length for the racks tonight (where have I heard that before?!?)

No takers by Saturday, it's all going to the tip (except that lovely bearing, I'm sure I could find a use for that)

Newark?? That's the other side of the Tamar! I can't travel that far, I haven't had my inoculations.

The racks are roughly 490 and 540mm between the pivots.
