Gearboxes, Sierra Diff and LSD axle FS
I need to clear some space in the garage, so as a result I'm selling my spare gearboxes (hopefully won't need them now I've got a
T5):
1 - MT75 'box in good working condition. Was going to use this one but changed plans due to a T5 turning up at the right price. Comes with the
shock absorbing donut thingy and the front half of the Granada prop if you want it. £50
2 - Type 9 'box, again in good working condition. This was one of my spare boxes and worked fine behind a 1600 Xflow. Missing the bellhousing to
gearbox bolts and the clutch arm. £30
Also for sale due to a change of plans is my LSD equipped axle from a Isuzu Piazza Turbo - I was going to use this in my Tiger but have gone for a
DeDion conversion instead, so is now surplus to requirements. Already fitted with 4-link brackets and panhard rod bracket. 4x100 stud pattern, but
enough meat on the flanges to redrill to 4x108 if wanted. Comes with calipers and good discs. I think this is about Escort width so would suit a
Locost. Comes with standard factory fit plate LSD for fun and smoky donuts. Powder coated black, and generally in good nick. 3.9:1 ratio i think.
£250
4. Sierra open diff and driveshafts - sale or swap. 3.62 ratio, push-in shafts, rare 6.5" diff casing. Weighs approx 5kg less than a 7"
diff, so ideal for those looking to save weight. Ideally want to swap this for a 7" diff and push in shafts to match, or make me an offer.
Pics to follow tonight
All items collection only from Tunbridge Wells, Kent due to weight!
