As my nightmare rebuild comes to a close at last, albeit at completely the wrong end of the summer (ooops!), here are the bits I've removed/bought in error that may be of use to someone, FOC if collected unless price stated: Happy to post if my costs are covered, or collection from near Cranbrook, Kent (I work in Maidstone and I’m near Crawley a fair bit at the moment as well if either is more convenient).   • MDF dash to suit locost scuttle with Escort 1.3 clocks (with custom glass and bezels), rev counter adapted to 9k rpm, with hazard and fog lt. switches. Previous leatherette covered, will either need recovering or use as a template (as I did) £10. dials maybe gone to possibly gone to madrallysport

  • Speedo cable to suit above for Ford/type 9 Gone to daddylonglegs

  • Smiths 50mm water temperature gauge £5

  • Smiths 50m oil pressure gauge (mechanical) £5

  • VDO 50mm oil pressure gauge (electrical) £10 gone to madrallysport

  • VDO 50mm voltage gauge (8-16v) £10

  • Unknown make 50mm fuel gauge £5

  • Fuel sender with 6 bolt flange (will need O-ring), possibly matched to above, I’ll check £5 gone to thefreak

  • CBS hazard light kit (opened but unused) £8 gone to ashg pending collection

  • Gear level and handbrake surrounds gone to Charlie_Zetec

  • Side mirrors gone to speedyxjs

  • Centre mirror (sierra??) adapted to 3 hole base £5

  • CBR 600 indicators gone to GrumpyOne

  • Side repeaters (no bulb holders)

  • rear reflectors gone to speedyxjs

  • reversing light lens and reflector (no casing)

  • Large tadpole rim (~1.2m) £2Gone to daddylonglegs

  • Brake reservoir cap

  • 32mm ID cooling/rad hose (0.6m @ £5, 0.1m and 0.07m lengths FOC)

  • 2x 32mm hose joiners

  • 38mm in line temp. sender housing £5

  • Shocks/springs – 12” & 11”, nackered but ok for during build? gone to Alex. pending collection

  • Petrol King fuel saver (fuel regulator) – leaked when fitted inverted (ooops!), untested right way up. £5 gone to madrallysport

  • Pinto (?) Ignition module (Motorcraft 83BB 12A199 B3A) gone to ashg pending collection

  • 2x unknown coil (one genuine land rover part!)

  • Water pump £5

  • X-flow starter motor (FRS13) £25

  • Pedal box (clutch and brake), roof mounted on chassis rail and secured through bulkhead, with bracket to take servo (uses same bulkhead mount points) with integral steering column support. £15

  • GATE front mount 12” fan £10

  • Escort 1.3 rad. with cap; moderate leak.

  • Pinto cam cover with cut down filler neck gone to ashg pending collection

  • RS2000/Pinto inlet manifold to suit twin carbs (Dellorto 45s fit, unsure what others will), coolant return will need re-tapping £25

u2u sent re - oil pressure gauge, petrol king, dash





UNDERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
OVERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
HORSEPOWER is how fast you hit the wall.
TORQUE is how far you take the wall with you.

i will have the rocker cover and ignition module.

i work in maidstone so can grab the bits one lunch time

will also have the hazard circuit too.
