2.0 zetec (silvertop) ported/polished head + newman cams

2.0 silver top zetec cylinder head, ported + polished, with a pair of newman fast road cams (part number FORZ/260/400H PH2).

Would love to write a big fancy ad for it but really the above sums it up perfectly. lol

would like to see £250 for it which i feel is a good price as the cams alone would cost more than that!

welcome to collect or can be sent if you want to pay for it as obviously it's not light!

if you come and collect it you can also have the bottom end, fully rebuilt around 5k ago. i was fully intending to fit this to my indy but i've put my sensible head in and decided i've got enough to do as it is in life at the moment and i just don't use my car enough to justify spending more money on it!

thanks
john

oooh, thats tempting - not sure i could justify a 5th engine (or explain to the g/f why another engine has turned up in her garage whilst she is on holiday!)

well if she's on holiday she can't say no and then when she gets back it's not like she's gonna go and lift it out now is it!

to be honest the biggsest reason the indy didn't get driven last year was i spent every spare moment i had splitting my time between rebuilding the engine on the cosworth and sorting out my wedding! both are now done and yes it's going to be tough enough deciding which car to take out when the sun shows it's self but i can't be doing with spending another few months and more cash swapping engines!

karlak i replied to your pm.

Who did the port & polish and what power was it expected to make ?

work was carried out by moorspeed in coalville. Power figures i don't honestly know, so many variables involved in it but i drove the car this engine came from and it certainly pulled well.

Do you now how much work was done on the heads ? The reason I ask is that I have a Silvertop with Piper 285 cams but the head is standard. If your head is a good one then it will be worth the money.

jeff, the only thing i can suggest is i will upload some pics tonight and and could take some measurements of the ports if that's any use to you? My mate who's engine it was simply took it to them and asked for a port and polish so i can only presume they took it out to a size that is safe while maximizing flow which is what i've had done in the past with other engines.
