Silvertop Zetec
Evening all,
I've got a silvertop zetec engine which is supposedly a 130bhp one from a 1992 XR3i (or was it a GTI). I believe this is because of cams - if
someone can tell me what and where to look for a part no to confirm I will do.
I bought it off ebay from a garage that removed it from the original car. I didn't hear it running or anything like that.
I've stripped it down as a learning exercise and put it all back together and I'm finished with it now as I don't plan on using it
for a kit and need space so I can get a donor car proper.
It's complete with ancilliaries except for the inlet manifold - it's got injectors and the rail, exhaust manifold, alternator. No belts
as I took off timing belt and auxilliary belt.
Unfortunately I broke the following:
2 x oil squirters
the lower oil ring on one of the pistons
If anyone is interested I'm open to offers but it's strictly sold as seen as I can't vouch for it at all and it'd need to be
collected.
I'm about 9 miles from Derby and 5 miles from Burton and I have a crane to lift it in.
Anyone ?
