To answer all your questions, if you're interested, bid on Ebay.
The speedo is calibrated by putting in a factor that turns the pulses from the sensor into mph. According to my satnav, it was very accurate, only
reading under by 1mph at 70.
And of course, my kit car had surround sound - doesn't everyone's??

Forgot to answer the question about the plugs for the gauges.
They don't have any - the have spade connections on the back so you make up your own loom using crimped on connectors.
