For sale! 4 Speed Gearbox...
I have a 4 speed box from my friends cortina. was going to use for my pinto install but now running a bike engine.
Its from a 1972 cortina 2.0 GT.
The Box is very good condition.

if its a 4 speed, it won't be a type 9!

Burtonpower says that there were some type 9s that were 4 spend for early 4x4s.
Though I can't imagine a cortina 4x4
Isn't the old 4 speed box the Rocket or something? It looks slightly like a type 9.

ohhh poop.
it fits my old pinto and i have been told the bell housing is the same as the type nine as i have just bought a type nine to go on the engine.
