Free (fire?) wood - Nuneaton

Hi,

Sorting out the garden and I'm facing up to the fact i need to lose my wood store + the new wood i've 'gained' after todays gardening.

If you're interested there are...

Lots of old bits of pallets - usually heavy duty ones so nice and thick, none painted, stored under cover for between 6 months and 2 years. Stored area is about 3' high by 2' wide by 6' long. (although i may keep some of the wood).

6x 8' posts that held up 6x 5' posts and some little triangular bits that made up a wooden divide in the garden that plants grew up / around. Been in the garden for 10+ years, not rotten so may have been treated.

some tree stumps / lumps.

The lot will fit on a small trailer (probably) and will save me taking it all to the tip over the next few months as the g/f gives me 'the look'.

Mike,

The way your Mrs gets you to pull your finger out in the garden is quite amazing, if only you could convince her to make you finish the car, you'd be driving in no time

I take it you haven't considered turning the wood into a Locust then? Or morgan replica perhaps?

hmmm, strange you should say that .... i've kept the largest bits of wood (wouldn't fit in the car so couldn't take them to the tip) so its still an option.

Also done a deal with the mrs that we can't have kids till the car is finished .... i'm expecting her to change the locks on the house and put a camp bed in the garage soon.
