Aprilia Mille Factory R engines

I am considering selling the engines from my autograss car as I just am not going to have time to finish it, and I would like to do an event or two next year, so I am thinking about raising some cash and using it to buy a ready to go car........

The engines are both the same spec and mileage to within a few hundred miles:

Aprilia Mille Factory R, dry sumped (as std), 2004 engines, under 4000 miles, come with throttle bodies, all sensors, wiring looms (though these have been stripped down for re-use on DTA ecus), exhaust downpipes, sprockets and chains if you want them, std mille (not factory R) cans, starters, clutch slave cylinders, thermostat housings etc etc

To those who don't know, these engines are awesome bits of kit. The quoted power seems to vary markedly, generally accepted to be around 135hp on the stock ecu. A guy in the next unit to us has one though and his made that at the rear wheel! The torque spread has to be seen on a dyno plot to be believed! They are dry sumped as std so no worries there, just an oil pipe in and an oil pipe out. Oh yes, I have at least 1 oil tank as well!

Anyway, I'm after £500 each for these engines, which with all the bits and bobs seems like a fair price (and its what I paid for them 3 years ago, and ones with this low a mileage are now getting harder to find)

£1000 buys the pair if you're doing something daft!

Ha Ha... I just don't trust the twin-engine set-up. Matching gearchanges and throttle responses, etc. What if one fails to start or conks out and the other is still spinning. Seems like a recipe for disaster (but still very ).

Don't suppose you know anyone selling a Rotrex charged BBird engine with whacking great injectors?

Nope, but there is a Rotrex kit for the Mille!
