My Aries on PH...

I posted a few weeks back that I was potentially interested in trading my car. Anyway, I put it on Pistonheads a couple of weeks back but forgot to mention it on here.

So, here you go... it's here PH Linky

I've had a bit of interest but nothing too serious to date. I would also add that I would also potentially be interested in some sort of p/ex or trade with a bit of cash either way involving something interesting other than just the cec 7 mentioned in the ad. The only issue is that it couldn't be much bigger than a 7 due to space constraints.

I'm still not convinced that I am doing the right thing but my mid-life crisis and having ticked the "build a bec kit car" box suggests that I should now be thinking about the next "project" as I need another before the "build your own pipe and slippers for 250"

Is this a TRADE ADVERTISEMENT?? Click HERE to report it!

wouldn't it be better (if possible) to hang onto it until early summer and then sell it? I would imagine it being more desirable then. Give you time to think as well! Or is the worry in the summer you'll be using and unable to part with it?

Ah, Mr Q, in some ways I'm sorry that you're selling it but on the other hand you need something you'll use.

Time to build a Gemini I reckon - there's not enough around; plus you can have a screen, weathergear blah blah. ;-)

It's a cracking car - I can only guess that it sounds bloody fantastic. Good luck with the sale.

if you really want to sell it - some more photos may help. You can't see a lot with what you've put up.

Unless you go with a premium ad, you are limited to, I think, 3 photos. I have plenty more photos and virtually everyone who has contacted me has asked for more so it's not putting people off contacting me, especially those who collect photos of other people's cars as a hobby!

I think it's one of those things - I just fancy a change. Yes I could wait until summer, but as I'm looking to trade rather than realise some cash, both parties would be in the same boat and the differential should be pretty much the same now as on June 20th (the day before Summer which, this year, is on the 21st and 22nd June)

Update - Car is now also on ebay (but as a classified ad as I can't face auction trauma just yet) - Aries Locoblade Bike Engined Kit Car on eBay (end time 06-Mar-11 19:06:59 GMT). I will obviously entertain lower offers or deals from LCBer's.

the easy solution to the PH photo limit is to put the pictures on one of the online pic bucket sites, and then add a link to the advert,...

works for me
