FS: My Luego Viento 321bhp £7650ono

Luego Viento For Sale

I am selling my Luego Viento, built by myself over a few years

It started out with a c20xe engine running through a type 9 on twin 45 dellortos

I soon got used to the power so the quest for more began, and only 6 monts since passing sva the c20xe was removed and i came across an sr20det

This was fitted over the winter and now this engine has been in the car for 2 years now and my god its crazy now

The car passed sva on the first retest and date of first registration is 09 04 2009, failed due to a few sharp edges and the speedo not reading correctly

The car has 9 months tax left and has done just over 1800 miles since passing

The reason for selling her is that i am starting on a new project soon, I have a 1987 land rover 90 that needs a full strip down and rebuild

Chassis and bodywork

Chassis is factory made buy Luego, powder coated black but is coming off in a couple of areas
Its double wishbone suspension all round with polybushes, and i had the crush tubes plated so they wont rust
The bodywork was supplied buy Luego as well but i believe they outsourced all the fibreglass work
The bodywork is in a bright red colour with alloy side panels
I have fitted my custom made aero screen but i ran out of time to get it painted so it is white at the moment

Engine and Transmition

321bhp sr20det engine from an s14 200sx, all alloy engine
760cc injectors
Z32 air flow meter
Uprated engine mounts, they are nice and stiff but remove the vibrations
Tubular exhaust manifold with t28 turbo charger, small ish size for quick spool up but still makes good power
Uprated wastegate actuator
SARD r2d2 dump valve
3" straight through exhaust
Sierra 2wd cosworth intercooler
Apexi air filter
Apexi power fc programmable ecu with hand held remote display
AVC-R electronic boost controller
Std 200sx gearbox
ACT superlight billet steel flywheel
Exedy uprated organic clutch
Custom made dunning and fairbank propshaft
Bosch 044 motorsport fuel pump
Pace products caterham 4 core racing alloy radiator

Running gear

3.92 ford sierra lsd rear diff (comes with a 3.62 crown wheel and pinion, matched pair, if you wish to change the ratio)
Front uprights are sierra 2wd but have been fitted with the calipers and discs from the xr4x4, the calipers have a larger diameter piston and therefore giving you more stopping power
Rear disc brakes from an xr4x4 as well
Std escort mk2 steering rack, i have a 2.9 ratio rack that will be included with the car, it just needs fitting
Gaz adjustable dampers

Wheels

Fitted with team dynamics pro race 1.2 in silver
15" x 7" on the front fitted with 215/50/15 toyo r888
17" x 9" on the rear fitted with 275/40/17 kumho v70
The car also comes with a second set of wheels, they are tsw cataluna 17" x 7" fitted with cheap 205 tyres

Interior

2 fibreglass bucket seats fitted with red 4 point harness
VDO cockpit vision electric speedo driven from the pick up sensor inside the gearbox, with matching rev counter, water temp, fuel and oil pressure
Stack boost gauge
I have a replacement carbon dash that i was meaning to fit but never got round to it but it is included with the car

Looking for £7650 ono

Seriously, though, I remember seeing it at Stoney - it looks a peach - worth every penny you're asking for it, but I don't think you'll sell it here - everyone's already got one kit or other - you'll have to 'bay it methinks! Good luck.

70 in a defender Scary?

Its a bit like 70 in a 1959 Mini 850 with Drum brakes, done on roads in the early 1970's!

Make sure you point the new owner of the Viento into the direction of LCB and us lot meeting up at the shows.
