Audi Coupe Quattro 5Cyl 20v for sale
Hi guys,
It's time to put up the CQ20 for sale after a great 3 years. Purchased from an enthusiast on audifans.net, a small fortune and time and money
has been spent, with all MOT's/ service history/ and probably every single reciept to prove!
Here's the spec:
1990 'H' Audi Coupe Quattro 2.3 5 Cylinder, 20 Valve (7a)
MOT until 23rd Jan 2013, tax to 31st July 2012
Just under 164,000 miles covered
Full Service history, MOT's, binder full or reciepts
Cam belt, pumps, and tensioners all changed at 153,000 miles
Loads of spares (headlights, wishbones, distributor, allsorts) included with the car
With Some improvements:
Tubular manifold
Spax 'supersport' aftermarket suspension all round (shocks and springs)
All wishbones, rear subframe, and rear diff mount polybushed
Aluminium subframe mounts on rear
Uprated vented brake disks on front with predator brake pads - standard brakes on these quattro's were notoriously bad!
Short shift kit
Stainless exhaust system (cat back) built by Torque Exhausts, due to the age you could actually remove the cat and still pass emmisions. Lovely sound
- not too loud but shows off the 5pot engine!
'Eclipse' professional head unit
3 spoke audi sport steering wheel
10 spoke alloy wheels, including spare
3 keys
great paintwork for age of car.
Bad point:
rust has begun to surface on the arches
There is a split in the rear bumper(5cm) where it has recently been bumped with what I assume was a towbar/ bullbar due to it's height on the
bumper
there are a few small marks/ scratches around the car - amazing for it's age though
drivers bolster getting worn - nowhere near ripping though
front subframe and wishbones started to corrode (not that near to needing replacement yet - you'll get a couple of years, and can include powder
coated subframe if required)
All in all this is a fantastic quattro that I love to bits. It's great fun to drive and has been treated really well with nothing but the best
parts/ oil/ replacements and care. The engine is still beautifully smooth and has given me very few issues at all other than a hall sender a while
back. I have thoroughly enjoyed working on this car and loosing knuckles, and replaced all bolts that have been removed with new, from audi. Only a
little more attention and this will be top notch. I read the other day that there are less than thirty of these left - I can't confirm this, but
you certainly don't see many about.
I'm asking for £850 as I know there are a few bits to do. I'd really like this to go to someone who's going to enjoy it rather than
chuck it on ebay so would be open to offers..
I've got loads of photos here so if you want more, just ask!
If there is anything else you would like to know, want to come round for a look, etc please do let me know - best way to contact would be on the
mobile - 07756 117500
If you are seriously interested and would like a test drive, that's no problem - just so we are all legal, bring proof of third party insurance
extension!
Cheers guys
Ben

Add the whistle of a turbo, now that's a noise. I drive an s2 as my daily car. You could try the s2 forum.

I want this... not sure how I justify it whilst having a quattro TT though
Will any classic insurers touch this?

hey - everyone knows two quattro's are better than one!! For my first year with adrian flux I was on a classic policy but I decided it was best
to declare the suspension( whether there was really any need or not) so they moved me over to a different policy.
Will try S2forum as well, thanks
