Trackday place Silverstone 30th march

Hello all,

Was booked onto silverstone trackday with track action tomorrow, but wife has gone into labour early today so not going to be able to make it.

It says sold out on the website, but i know that my name is still on there so give them a call. If someone else goes, i can swap my booking for a later date.

Circuit Days Limited

Ask for the place of Tim Davies username: enginearin.

Have fun... gutted to be missing it. Was going to be the first outing in the new car too!

Cheers

Tim

I know where you're at (I have a 9 week old) - I'm impressed you've got a forum post written!
Good luck

Thanks... it's easier than it first sounds when you've been sat around the hospital waiting for some action since 8am

If I'd known you were sat in the Royal Berks you could have come round here and helped with my crankshaft sensor on the tin-top! Only five minutes walk.
Best of luck - life will never be the same.
Cheers, Pewe10

Bugger, that would have given me something to do... The mrs could have popped in to made the tea!

Think you'll be in enough trouble with the missus anyway without expecting her to make the tea!
So what's the news???
Cheers, Pewe10

All good news. After long wait for an operation we have a healthy baby daughter called Ella. Should both be back home sunday, with a bit of luck.

Couple of weeks off work now looking after everyone. Toughest thing will be fending off the mother in law I'm sure!

Congratulations - glad all are well.
Best advice ever from Health Visitor years ago - if Dad is the bread-winner he needs to focus on bringing home the money - he should only participate in nocturnal baby activities at weekends allowing him sensible sleep/rest during the week.
Mum has daytime to rest/sleep and if MIL is used as a back-up so be-it, they can come in useful sometimes!

Thanks Pewe,

This is our second and we followed that same plan 1st time round. The mrs was pretty tolerant i must say... can't be easy to have me take out an ear plug at 7am and say "how was your night dear?" every morning for a few months
