For Sale:- Snap-On (SnapOn) Roll Cabinet and Top Box

Hi All,

Still trying to sell absolutely everything that I can get my hands on in "Casa de Hignett"

Here is my Snap On Roll Cabinet and Top Box.
I've owned it for approximately 5 Years.
I bought it second had from an ex ProDrive Mechanic. It is an awesome tool box and has served me well on maintenance and also has proved more than adequate to store virtually all of my kitcar building gear - mostly due to the huge amount of room provided by all the drawers, but also because of the large lowest drawer which has been invaluable for carrying all the drills and grinders etc...

Apparantly the price he paid when bought new was £2000 for the roll cabinet, £800 for the top box and £50 for the handle
When I bought it, I bought it as a set and paid £820 for it and gave £30 to a fellow member for fuel that offered the use of his pickup/jeep to pick it up as I had no means of getting it home!!! So we set off down south with one duvet and three blankets in the back

Anyway - I am no longer able to build kits and race cars due to my back, and it really is total overkill to keep for a bit of general stuff round the house! (I will be selling (almost) all my tools too, but this sale is ONLY for the tool boxes at this moment in time...)

In my ownership, all I have done is looked after it (as much as you can look after a tool box).
1. I removed the two stickers that were NOT Snap-On.
2. It had no protection on the bottom of the drawers, so I fitted every single drawer and the top of box with Halfords Professional tool box drawer liner. (It took three rolls @ £12 a roll!!!).
3. I got some special grease/oil for the slides from a friend of mine that owns Muk-Junkie (he breaks down famous brands and copies them for himself!) and this was a copy of Snap-On's very own stuff!

I don't think there's much more to say really - I've obviously rambled on too much as it is - but I guess I do that...
Oh, Photo No. 13 shows a pair of genuine Snap On keys - I actually have BOTH pairs of keys, so four in total...

Anyway, I am not expecting to get back what I paid for it, but I have been checking ebay to get a relevance of prices for similar sized and condition boxes and they seem to go from around £600 to around £1200.

I would like £550 for my tool boxes.
Obviously delivery needs to be on top of that - however I am willing to bring to Stoneleigh...

Photo's below, and thanks in advance for your interest. Please send me a U2U if you are interested, or know friends/family that might be interested.
