1.8 CVH engine breaking for parts Blackburn.
I have had sat around the back of the house a 1.8 CVH engine that I paid good money for probably 2 years ago.
It is a CFI engine with the original manifold. I also got the ECU, loom, map etc. It has been sat under a plastic cover since I got it. as there is
a chance that it could be rusting up and the fact I have two 1.8 Zetecs in the garage the engine is going to go.
It has the sump and pick up pipe still on the engine. Flywheel and front pulley. Although the flywheel will need a clean up.
If anyone is looking for bits from the engine, or for the the whole engine pm me. I would rather parts were collected as sending things in the post
means a lot of packing and extra costs. Offers for bits or parts that fit zetecs?
I will take the plugs out and see if I can turn the engine over by hand and report back.
It turns over easy suspect stuck valves at present, but at least not seized engine.

Why do I have to make the tools to finish the job? More time then money.

Was lack of plugs that meant it turned over OK.
Getting stripped now, the coil pack I will keep to help with other engine in the future. Will strip to bits and then the main block will probably go
to scrappy with head etc.
