Acer TravelMate 8371 Laptop FS
Time to move on my trusty work laptop, it a cracking thing with 3Gb Ram a U7300 CPU and a 465 Gb hybrid drive fitted last year. I am sorry to see it
go but the screen is just too small for me to use 8 hours a day so have now bought a 15" Macbook Pro and wiped it an installed windows (Prepares
for MAC fans to scream). It has a 13.3" screen which is fine for normal home or garage use but being my main work machine i spend 8 holurs a day
in front of it and am fed up with squinting after the first 4 hours. In addition i now need a 64 Bit OS which the U7300 CPU wont support but the
MacBook Pro does. Battery is still good and gives at least a couple of hours on a charge.
Will be wiped in the next day or so and can be supplied reloaded with either Windows XP or Windows 7 32 Bit and i might even find a corporate copy of
office if you ask nicely.
Few signs of wear, couple of shiny keys and a couple of scratches but overall in very good condition. Just out of Acer extended warranty but apart
from changing the hard drive last year its been 100% reliable. It doesnt have a DVD Rom drive but i just use a USB one when required and there not
expensive any more.
Comes complete with charger.
