1998 Grand Espace 2.2 TurboDiesel RXE
Hi
Were selling our trusty Grand Espace RXE (with rust free bodywork because its GRP). We have had her since 2005 and 64,400 miles on the clock. She has
2 previous owners - one, the company I work for and the other, a colleague.
She now has around 122,500 miles on the clock. She is a spacious 7 seater with good luggage space. We have been running her as a 5 seater with an
enormous boot.
I get 34 mpg on a run at around 75 on the speedo.
She has a Pioneer 6CD multistack cd, RDS radio and Cassette! with Pioneer remote.
Good low loading capacity for all those car bits and pieces - and Ikea flat packs. Up to 5 rear seats can be removed in the back creating a carpetted
van with a towball.
She has a 2.2 L diesel engine that was serviced last autumn. it had a cambelt at 86,968 miles in Sept 08.
She has had the obligatory replacement oil cooler, radiator, clutch pedal unit, 2x heater matrices, clutch and dual mass (!) flywheel.
She has had an easy life generally with me, pottering around the country. She has taken us all camping in Europe and trailed my Lotus around various
parts of the country on and off.
MOT'd until Feb 8th 2013.
Being French she has a few quirks but they are easy adaptions.
She is showing an airbag warninng light which a borrowed reader deduced was either a front seatbelt unit or the wiring to it
There are a few niggles and a service light has recently appeared which has not yet been checked out. It may be rear shoes
She is 15 years old and the price reflects this. If you seek perfection, this will not be for you. If you want a cheap runabout it may be.
The car is located near Watford and St Albans in Herts.
It is taxed until 04/14
