2000 reg BMW 530d Manual Saloon, Good condition and excellent MPG

We are putting our 530d Manual Saloon for sale as we have recently bought the touring version which we required for our motorsport use carrying wheels and towing etc. we have owned the car since January and we will be sad to see the car go as it is a fantastic drive and very economical for such a big car.

We have just had the car Mot’d for 12 months with only handbrake and headlight adjustment required.
It has also just been taxed for 6 months.

The car comes with all the original handbooks and service records which is very comprehensive, serviced by BMW until 80k then independent servicing ever since. It has a spare key too.

It has full black leather interior which is in very good condition. It also has an expensive Alpine head unit with I pod connection.
There is a Bluetooth handsfree phone unit and also a cradle for an I phone costing £220

The previous owner stated the car had been remapped and I have no doubt it has, it returns a constant 48 to 50MPG which is a good 8/10mpg better than our touring and it is also much nippier than our touring which is the slightly higher 193BHP model.

There is a huge folder full of receipts going back many years and many of the previous MOT certs. We have had it serviced on schedule
The car has covered 180k miles but as mentioned it feels like it's just run in..
The following were fitted last year,
New front brake discs and pads
Two front wheel bearings.
Rear brake shoes
Rear antiroll bar links.
Diesel fuel cooler
Pas Cooler

I have also just had a new windscreen fitted due to a crack in the old one and a new in tank fuel pump.

It has clear aftermarket side indicators and also an expensive pair of Xenon Halo headlights fitted costing £175.
It has the factory fitted removable swan neck tow bar and also it has a working Webasto auxiliary heater to heat the cabin and coolant much faster on winter days.

To summarise the car is in very good condition, better than average given the age and it drives superbly. There is a missing small trim at the bottom of the centre console, cup holder front I think.
There are a couple of rust spots where there has been a chip and a small scuff on the bumper as shown in the pictures.

I am pricing the car to sell quickly as we already have its replacement as mentioned.
If you require any more pictures or info then please let me know.

£1850 ono,

I have adverstised the car elsewhere so it will be first come first serve I'm afraid.

Hi David, I always forget something I'll edit the add now.

It has done 180k but this shouldn't put anyone off the car drives superb as mentioned and I know of a friend who has 300k on his now. In fact the touring we bought is only slightly less miles than the saloon.
