JC Locust Wide Body Sports KIT CAR 2.0 Litre - perfect first kitcar / project just £1500

I am reluctantly selling my Kit Car due to a change in circumstances.

It is a JC Locust Wide Body Sports in Red based on a 2.0 Pinto (twin carb) 1979 Cortina MK IV and has an aged related "V" registration. It is MOT'd and in working condition.

I wanted to try a kit car and I bought it a year ago from the previous owner who had it standing for some time.
I got it MOT'd but haven't been able to give it the time it deserves and have done less than 100 miles in it in the time I have owned it.

It is a perfect 'starter' Kit Car if you want to try kit cars or are looking for a new project with lots of potential.
It is in good overall condition but could do with some improvements such as replacing the mirrors (for sexier ones), full carb/ignition tune up etc...
As with everything it has some bad bits but nothing major at this bargain price.

Still has a leaded head and requires fuel additive (bottle included).

I have owned it for a year but not had the chance/time to work on it as much as I had initially hoped - its been fun the times I've driven it but now I am looking to move back to London where I don't have anywhere to keep it.

First registered: 01/06/1998
First used: 13/08/1999 this is the first MOT

On the V5;
In special notes it says; 1. REBUILT - ASSEMBLED FROM PARTS SOME OR ALL OF WHICH WERE NOT NEW.
Make: JC SPORTS
Type & Model are blank
Body TYpe: Convertible
Class; PLG

MOT expires 19 September 2013.
Taxed until the end of September 2013 - after which it will be put on SORN.
Current insurance expires 14 September 2013 - test drives (me driving) are possible until then.
Its an ideal starter kitcar or winter project - either way I would like it to go to a good home.

Asking just £1500 - will consider swap/px for 600cc motorbike or similar.
Car is located in Farnborough, Hampshire.

Any questions please ask.

Thanks for reading.
