STM Phoenix zxr 1000 engine caged frame

Hi Guys,

New to forum so sorry if this is posted in wrong place.

I have an STM Phoenix car in my garage. We used to make the flappy paddle and various suspension parts for stm.
I persuaded Wife it would be good idea, sales wise if I built one of the cars myself as a marketing tool. So along came all the bits chassis caged tube, engine zxr1000 bodywork - mad orange! lol no instructions! (not a robin-hood kit lol) I have neither the skills or the time to finish it! Got wheels on steering rack on ford lsd in place. other bits of steering, column that would pass iva? but im lost now! I gave up when i realized I had welded peddle set on upside down. I have spent alot on this car but ot no where with it. it is a potential race winner. the engine is so light and powerful. Please give advice on what price I should sell this at? You guys know more about it than me.

Well you could buy a complete STM BEC Phoenix for £7K-9K. So a non-complete one with no IVA is worth £2.5K maybe. It is likely that there is more money in breaking it....engine kit might be worth £1K, bodywork £800, chassis £1k and so on.

I'm with Geoff on this one.
If it is the later chassis then its probably worth a bit more than £1k (with wishbones and stuff), although I'd have the bodywork a bit lower.

You might be lucky and find a serial kitcar addict local to you to finish it for/with you you as lots of folk on here just like the building.

Is zxr1000 the same as a zx10r?
