Aquamist HFS-3 PWM Water/Methanol Injection System
Hi,
This is one awesome bit of kit. The best pulse width modulated water/methanol injection kits out there.
This was fitted to my previous vehicle for 6 months before the car was broken for bits, running a 40:60 water/meth mix i was seeing over 30 degrees c
temperature drop in IAT at WOT on track. Dropping my EGT by over 200c and still producing more power (superheated water is more powerful than fuel)
This allowed me to run more boost (colder/denser air compresses better), and more advance. It took my 1.6L 16v engine from 240bhp to 285bhp.
It uses injector duty to calculate the flow of liquid required which is fully adjustable within the unit, it has failsafe functions that allow map
switching to occur should you have an issue with the kit (low fluid or pressure drop). I couldn't recommend this kit more. Blue LED illumination
and dash control
The kit has everything it originally came with, some still unused, it uses normal high pressure plastic 6mm and 4mm hose if more is required, which is
readily sourced. All wiring is connected using ethernet or molex plug type connectors, no soldering needed apart from injector and power
connections!
Comes with a brand new flow meter and high speed valve, as one somehow got damaged in storage.

This kit also comes with a Howerton Engineering 2 Gallon twin enclosure tank. which nicely encloses the pump, tanks and control relays within it.

Now as you can imagine this kit was not cheap, Retailing at £580 inc vat plus £150 for the tank enclosure......
I will never see that sort of money for it though, Looking for £400 posted, open to sensible offers.
