FS: Jet engine project

Started this project nearly two years ago I can't see I will have the time to get it finished in the next year as its going to be one mental year....

It is based around a BIG turbo as used for silly powered supras etc. Turbo cost me around £300. Doesnt appear to have had much use!

I have put together the combustor, frame, oil system including pumps, filters, coolers etc. I have also built a high pressure diesel system to fuel the beast along with a spark ignited gas pre-heat system.

There are a tonne of other parts including fibre-optic tachometers, gauges, starter blowers, etc.

I recon if I had a good couple of weeks to tinker with it I could get it running to a basic level. Just need to finish plumbing in the oil system and fine tune the diesel pump pressures and it should go!

Was designed to run off atomised diesel as a gas producer to drive a free power turbine. I was hoping to be able to produce around 7s.h.p to drive an alternator or something. All the pumps and systems are designed to run off a 12v battery. The intention was to have a single push button start.

If anyone is genuinely interested I can provide more pictures and list of everything included. I would guess I have spent well over a grand on all the bits and pieces.... so I'd be open to offers...

Test run of the combustor running on diesel.

Don't have any bang up to date photos but these are a few to show what it looks like...

Pumps and early plumbing..
