locost for sale ...maybe
Hi everyone im considering selling the project due to loss of storage but mainly moving away to a different location so really just testing the water
to se if there is any interest in this, i dont really want to sell it but change of circumstances forces this.
Its a locost built around the ron champion design

cortina front hubs and calipers
1700 crossflow engine modified as below
re-bored to 1698 using lotus Cotrina powermax flat top pistons
polished and lightened and balanced rods
crank reground and balanced
high pressure oil pump
24 cc chambered head with huge rimflow valves
Burton rocker cover
running on cbr 1000 carbs
fully silicone hosed
oil catch tank breather fitted
modified escort radiator ie; blanked off rad cap and bleed valve fitted
5 speed sierra box
all running and driving
aluminum body sides/scuttle and rear panel
fiberglass bonnet and nose fitted
chassis powder coated
Mach 1 seats
fully carpeted and trimmed
cant remember the name of the clocks fitted but they cost £500 all working with electronic speedo.
fully refurbed alloys now looking like new
needs very little to put in for IVA just needs under dash covering and some foam edge on the bonnet resting place to make it look finished off
i have spent about 6 years building this with no expense spared and many thing sredone to improve look and design integrity and safety.
I am looking for about £5000 as it stands as it is about 99% done could be IVAd pretty much as it all comments welcomed

Spent ages trying to turn the top one round and just gave up I shrunk them down to what I usually do but as obviously stated they are huge but if
anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated don't think they are out of focus at all must just be my eyes
