MCT75 gearbox - type 9 replacement

Originally fitted to a brand new Westfield 2ltr Duratec factory built car as a new item in March 2008. Removed when car upgraded to sequential. It had
only done 7,500 miles and fit's in place of the normal Type 9, but is far stronger.
Comes with prop shaft, full gearshift lever mechanism and knob.
A common upgrade for Lotus Elans either to Zetec, Duratec or to the original Twin Cam. Sold by Westfield for their kits and also used in Morgans and
more recently in Jaguar conversions, due to ability to take high BHP and light alloy case.
if you are thinking of a 5 speed conversion (plus reverse) using a MT75 box, if you don't want to change things like the flywheel, ring gear,
starter, or removing bits from the std MT75 bell housing to get clearance or trying to find a LHD box, consider using this MCT75. By using a Rocket to
BDA bellhousing you can eliminate some guesswork on the twincam, or bolt this to a zetec, duratec, or any engine that has a type9 bellhousing
available.
Far stronger than a Type 9
