Mounting rubbers
Anyone help on what are the best mounting rubbers to use. I,m putting a 2 litre zetec into a MK Indy. I have seen a few previous threads where
builders have mentioned landrover rubbers also MGB rubbers. I fancy using the MGB ones as they look easier to assemble with a two hole plate on the
bottom (although how does the eccentric bolt go; to the back or the front). Are there any others that are suitable.

Picked mine up at Newark show. The guy had them by the bucket  Would like to know what they are from?

moumting rubbers
I was hoping to get a standard pair from local autofactors or distributor as I,m ready to set my mounting bracket up

Classic Rangerover mountings are ideal, support a V8 and are easy and cheap to get.
www.mm-4x4.com has got them for £2.98 each Just need an m10 Nylock each end to locate.

I've used mounts from a Fiesta on my Westfield. They're rectangular and have a locating tab that can be removed if required. Just under 3
quid each and reasonably stuff. Part number QH EM1542

I am using E-Type Jag ones on a K-series elise engine. They are what Caterham use but are cheaper if sourced from elsewhere.

info from TVR site
Engine Mountings
Original mountings were Ford Germany spec, and are no longer available. TVR recommend going to a Ford dealer and asking for round rubber insulator,
and suggested (Ford Capri/Transit). They (TVR) will not supply, Ford UK mountings, as they are not type approved and tested in car. Team Central state
two types of engine mounting fitted
1. 1 � inch rubber thickness.
2. 2 inch rubber thickness. (See below for details). Fitted to 1991 S3C were mountings marked FORD GETEFO 073535, no ford part number.
Ford Part No. 1454274 Rubber thickness 1 � inch (Ford transit)
025E 001A No markings on mounting (suppliers state are Ford part and quoted Ford No.1534???)
Rubber thickness 2 inch (supplied by Christopher Neil dealer) �11.90 & vat each

Thanks for all you replies and advice I got a pair of Landrover rubbers today from a local dealer now I got to jig them upand they look just the
business.
