Need about 350mm of 60mm ID tube with a 1mm wall thickness. Anyone got an off cut or point me in a direction to get hold of some??

youll be lucky to find it with that ID .

most tubes are 63mm /60mm OD , you then specify what gauge you want - which sounds 18/20 gauge to me .

They sell table legs, which are steel tubes about 60mm OD.

With 1mm wall thickness? The ID is quite important too.......

well , it sound slike you need some 20g 60mm tube then !

whys the ID so important ?

most of the tube i can lay me hands on is 16g.

Modifying an exhaust with a cat in it for SVA. Have to match it onto an existing header. I have no idea of the guage as metal aint my thang. I do know that 60mm OD with a 1mm wall thickness is whats required!

have you tried talking to a stainless exhaust manufacturer there must be one near you

I know of Stealth but I wont have time to get over there unfortunatly. Was hoping to find something on the web.......

I have some 63mm OD (approx 1mm wall) stainless and could cut 400mm of it if you want.

Won't cost you anything - unless you want to put a little in an RNLI or similar collection.

It's only a couple of mm oversize, and I'm sure you could cut and bend the end in a bit before welding
