Can anyone help me out please, just been out for a run in the car and I've lost the sump plug loosing all the oil, been back to where I lost it and can't find it, can anyone help me out with sump plug for a ford crossflow 1600 or where I can get one

They sell them in halfords....

Otherwise Caterham spares do a Xflow sump plug though not sure if on a Cat the standard sump is used....

Burton do a

ADAPTOR 1/2UNF(M)-1/8NPT(F) -X/FLOW SUMP

for a 1/2 UNF plug would do it....

DAMN! too slow.

never mind the sump plug.. arent you more worried about the state of your engine inernals if youve lost all your oil?

i once raced my fiddy (crf50 supermoto)with no oil in at all, it was fine oddly enough!

thanks a lot every one just ordered one. Don'T know what sort of damage to the engine . get the plug in oil in and start it up fingers x legs x and every thing else x

more worrying is how do you know where you lost it ???? did you follow the black trail??
