I urgently require a opel manta gearbox output oil seal, for a 1.8 5 speed.

I have phoned round Opel/Manta specialists etc, today and cant get one anywhere,

The problem is I now urgently need one for tomorrow, as the car is supposed to be going to Stoneleigh on Saturday.

Does anyone know where I can get one, or has anyone got one going spare, Ideally close to Newcastle Upon Tyne, but I would consider travelling further to collect.

i just checked, seems to be about a 3 hour drive for you, but like you say, as a last resort, whip the old one out tonight, send him down there first thing in the morning, you could have it done by this time tomorrow.

any bearing suppliers near to you at all (unlikely, but you never know)

posted a want on the opel manta forum. and a kind chap from Harrogate has one, the Son is whizzing down there now.

will get to Stoneleigh in the Indy after all
