Hi there,
I am after some of that nice Billet Fuel rail.
I only need 12inches, but the postage and stuff is prohibitive from RossMachineRacing, and from UK suppliers the material is so expensive.
If someone out there has the right bit to drill it for gsxr600 injectors then I am more than happy to pay for a rail that has been drilled to the
right spacing. I'm a bit worried about drilling it as the MRM site talks about a special drill-bit.
Let me know a price if this is your cup of tea, or if you know somewhere that might be able to supply.
Matt
Have you look at using copper pipe. 15mm copper pipe can be made to make fuel rails for Bosch injectors, not sure if the bike injectors have smaller o-rings though...
Interesting thought.
I think bike ones are 11mm (or maybe 10.8mm), which makes the copper piping trick a bit tricky.
Liam McCaffrey has sorted me out, so this request is now closed.
Unless someone has top tips on how to drill these things.
Thanks,
Matt

thanks for that tip, exactly what I needed.
The tool from ROss Machine ($130, FYI) cuts a sort of shoulder as well as rounding of the edge (as you describe), isn't that necessary?
I do like your rubber suit. I suppose that must be quite good for keeping you clean in the garage.

Nope, just drill it stright through, the injectors go in up to the shoulder on them, so no need to stop the hole at a particular depth.
Then put a decent sized countersink in the top of each hole then round the edges off with some emery then wet n dry and all will be well.
