I'm after a hobby mig welder, because I have an buzz box arc welder, but its a bit agricultural and I fancy something easier for more delcate
jobs.
I do NOT want gasless or a SIP machine unless it has no wire feed issues (and most seem to which is a shame as they are cheap).
I will organise a courier to collect at my cost or collect in person.
I have up to £100, maybe a touch more for a higher rated machine or if it includes a decent size bottle of gas.
Must be single phase 240v with a standard 13amp fuse domestic plug.
Cheers folks!
Aldi are doing some new 130amp migs tomorrow for £140

those aldi welders are getting slated on the mig-welders.co.uk forum!
the guys on there recommend the clarke 130/135ts as the best hobby welder for value for money
The clarks are good.
The SIP migmates are good. Mine had a wire feed problem but i changed the liner and swan neck and it been perfect since. Its welded alsorts of
stuff.

We have a sip Mig mate turbo and it works fine- kept in a warm garage so the wire stays bright, also have an industrial machine at work with free argon so the little one could go, it has mostly been used with stainless wire for exhausts.
