Look up thatcham II immobilsers on ebay.
I have a Hawk HA-203 which has a transponder fob.
No fob, no starting the car. It cuts 3 different starting/ign circuits.
It can also reduce your insurance if you get it installed by a proper installer or get them to check and sign off your work.
Mine cost £30 delivered, but cost a lot more to get it checked and signed off.

I bought a thatcham II immobiliser from Maplins . Very easy to wire and cheap too, under £20, They do an immobiliser and alarm too

I always used Cobra systems on my tintops, mostly Thatcham Cat 1's (alarm & immob, plus additional bits such as full closure, etc.). But they do the immobiliser only option, which requires a keyfob in order to start the engine.

Thought about putting one on my GTS when done, but I've got a battery master kill switch, steering lock, and removable steering wheel (for after IVA).
