Mine was made from carbon effect ABS supplied by MNR. CBS and Europa sell it the last time I looked.

I found that the edges of mine gradually curled up over time. Something more rigid would be better for a boot lid.

I made mine from ply wood covered with vinyl. It's cheap and easy to work with, and so far fairly robust.

got mine from here , they even cut to size. unfortunately the postage cost more than the plastic.

3mm abs used for firewall, tunnel top and boot cover.

My boot cover is 6mm ABS, but I find it expands and warps alot in the sun. So I will be converting over to plywood very soon.

Thin marine or exterior ply covered with thin ali. glued in place did it for me.
Looks passable espec. if you use edge trim around the perimeter, is fairly weather-proof and screws onto the outer tubing.
Only tricky bits were trying to shape it around the roll-over bar so ended up making card patterns first then four pieces which fit together using tongues and brackets on the under-side.
Also made a hatch with Moss Plastics surface hinges and secured with Dzus fasteners so I can put helmet, her shopping etc. in the boot.
HTH.
Cheers, Pewe
