L&G,
I'm about to re-assemble my Type 9 with a view to trying it in place of the auto. It isn't going to be entirely simple because of difference
in length, mount position, gearlever housing conflicting with cross member, etc. But I would like to have all the necessary bits to hand ready for
when/if I do the swap.
What I'm after is:
- Clutch release arm
- Release arm boot
- Serviceable clutch release bearing
- Dust plate between engine & bellhousing
- Clutch cable
- Speedo cable + circlip
Anyone have a collection of these going spare for appropriate remuneration? I know I can/should get some parts new, but if you have serviceable spare
items taking up space, I can put them to good use.
I already have flywheel, clutch plate, pressure plate assy, spigot bearing and all the bolts.
Thanks,
John.

Hi John, I believe I have a clutch fork going spare
make sure you get the right fork and bearing for your gearbox and clutch!

It depends what gearbox you use, the v6 clutch arm posistions the bearing too far toward the clutch if you use it on the non v6 box.
Make sure the input shaft sits just shy of the face of the blee housing and doesn't stick out as on the v6 box.
if you find some pictures of type 9 arms, I can tell you from there which on to use.
