Does any know where I could get an empty 200L oil drum from - Harrogate area

My son-in-law wants to make a BBQ from one and the only ones he can find on flebay are down south.

Ask around the farms or fuel companys. They often have a return value of around £12

We use Texaco at work & they dont take them back any more, we cut the tops out & use them for scrap bins! So yes, ask at some place that uses oil in bulk like garages but folk who work on stuff that takes more oil will be the best bet so agric engineers, plant operators, truck mechanics & the like.

I've got loads of plastic ones dont think they'll last too long as a bbq tho lol

I was told there is a £60 return on them !!!

My other half is after a couple for horse jumps / obstacles or something..... (I have no interest in 1hp things ) so if anyone knows anywhere in Spalding area with some I will happily pay £12 each for them

They used to take ours back at £10 a go but they dont want them anymore.

I built one out of a gas cylinder, IMHO far better than my mates barrel BBQ.
Dont forget to unscrew top off and fill with water for a couple of days 1st!!!
