Wtd: English Diff (midlands area)

Diff seems to have gone south, so am looking for an reasonably priced second hand replacement unit.

Ratio was 3.89 which seems to work with the 5sp box.

Needs to have small input flange.

flange size doesn't matter, just use you small one in place of the bigger flange if it is the wrong size.

But be careful on re-tightening the bolt as you could over crush the crushwasher and the you'll have a leaky diff that will need a replacement crush washer.... etc etc

EZ job though...

Hi

It is probably replacing the flange without doing the job properly that has scrapped his original diff. You can not just undo and then re tighten the nut back up. Crush tubes are a once only fit.

Daniel ill have a look and see if i have any 3.9 ratio's in the stores.

Cheers Matt

Hi,

How much of a rush are you in? I've got a 3.89 in great condition..... however I need to take it out as i've got a 3.54 to fit.
