Alloy race rad
carpmart - 16/11/09 at 12:43 PM

Guys

I need a new radiator on my race car as the existing one is looking a little sorry for itself!

So, do I buy one off eBay? Lots of Chinese stuff on here and I don't want to buy a load of monkey metal!

Do I get one made or buy off the shelf with Alifab or other manufacturers?

What do I need to consider?

Finally, and my reason for posting here, has anyone got one for sale?

Thanks!

Bryn is making me one as I speak, (he lives directly across road) the quality of his work is second to none, that's one thing to consider ?

Dropped you a u2u to ask for his contact details!

Anyone else got any other options?

I'm getting a couple of custom rads made up by a place called Advanced Radiators at the moment.

Advanced Radiators [info@adrad.co.uk]

I emailed round 6 or 7 for a quote, and this was one of the cheapest (not the cheapest as I needed them quickly). Had the quickest turnaround too or around a week.

The other cheap ones I tried were:

Rick@myracespares.com

Sales@ali-fab.com

graham@grsmotorsport.co.uk

Might be worth trying on of these, they were all very helpful.
