I have a hankering to fit a silly engine to a "normal" car. The 944s are old enough to be cheap but well built enough to have survived.

So if anyone knows of a cheap 944, preferably an S2 or turbo S. Late '88 or 89 onwards and the engine is going so can be knackered but with a tidy body.

Dont forget these were front engine, rear gearbox.

IIRC the bellhousing is removable from the torque tube, so you might be able to do something....
