Buy some arp bolts for the flywheel they are a lot better and cost less than £20 for a set of 6

its my last alternative...i wanted to get the engine in by the weekend...

Give Burton Power a call they'll most likely have them. You could always try your local Ford dealers.

ETA: you should always use new bolts when refitting the flywheel.

rang my local ford dealership....

was told they had to have the chassis or reg number of the car....i was told there are loads of different types of pinto and they all have different flywheel to crankshaft bolts....i said i have the engine number and he said that would be no good...i feel totally fobbed off and am really pissed off now.....

ford, are all ways like that, that is why i go down there. if it is from my sierrra and i want a part i tell them the reg no, and they say it does not exist on there system, so the next time i went in with the chassis number still on the bit off chassis i cut out, the part guy face was funny. and they still got me the wrong part.

now most of the guys know that i will not give them a reg, or chassis number, just a make and model, and they go and do there computer thing turn up with the part numbers, then order the parts in, most items come in just a few days.
