Ive not got a nut on one of my track rod ends, is it a ford only part or can i source one elsewhere? its quite a fine thread!

also has anyone got a handfull of ford nuts they can send me, ive got none and i cant move my car until i get at least 8

The TRE nut is something line 3/8" UNF IIRC. I just got a few old imperial taps I had lying around and tried a few until I found the correct side (as I didn't have a thread gauge).
I'm not sure if I'm correct on this, but isn't once side UNF and the other UNC?
