Duncan Mould - 2/4/10 at 03:06 PM

Just when the wife gives you permission to go in the garage. I start to weld and my trusty welding set decides to pack in. Its an old Clarke 110 turbo that has stood the test of time now for over 10 years. Built 3 kit cars and decided that today was the day to let me down. stripped it and cant see anything obvious, fan is still going round and lights are on but there is just no power, despite what setting you put it on.
If anyone knows of a cheap welder of simalar elk then let me know, beer tokens waiting

Ask for a diagnosis from the symptoms over on the welding forum It might be a cheap fix

And if not, there's a for sale section

If you want to borrow a clarke 150t for a while then it will get it out of my way for a bit!!! Until you either find another or able to fix the one you have...

2 miles from J13 M6 - the only thing i would ask is to teach me to weld on its return!!!!!
