Just checked with local Ford dealer & they want £17.81 for a Sierra handbrake switch.

Has anyone got a spare kicking around for sale or know of a cheaper source?

if its just to use as the brake warning light, i'd just get a cheap push switch and put it on the dash. it doesn't have to work off the handbrake
