Cheap runabout

Should be selling my car next monday and will have a max budget of £700.

I travel between oxford and surrey. Anyone selling or seen any decent cheap runabouts?

I'm also tempted by an older SAAB 9-3, willing to go up to £800 for the SAAB

Would prefer to get a diesel as I want some decent MPG but I don't want to be crippled by a small litre engine

pity you weent further North a guy I know is selling a low mileage Pug 205 turbo diesel for £350 ony got 45k on it and well maintained

I had a saab 900 and it was awful on fuel, pity as there were a lot of cool thing about the car though it was hopless on snow

Really? I found my 900 great in the snow. But have to agree, it was crap on fuel!
