Pinto cambelt cover studs
NickMK - 19/4/12 at 05:42 PM

Hi, I want to fit a cambelt cover to my pinto but when i went to fit I realised I don't have the studs in the head to hold the cover.

Has anyone got these two studs? This isn't a photo of my car but a photo of the parts I need. Thanks. Nick

Alternative: Fit a floor panel?

IIRC those arrowed parts are threaded internally 6mm, so you use bolts.

Yes they would be threaded internally. This isnt a photo of my car but a photo of the parts I need. I have the cam cover and the bolts that thread in to those internally threaded studs.

You don't need the spring for the tensioner. The spring is only used to set the initial tension before you do up the bolts and to be honest it never really set the tension correctly
