Wanted - cheap free pushbike wheels (Hampshire)

Evening all,

I'm on the hunt for some cheap (ideally free) pushbike wheels for a go-kart project. There's a local downhill derby at the end of June run in a cow field.

Ideally I'm after three or four 26" mountain bike wheels (fronts would be best, but can work with rears too).

Happy to collect reasonably local (Winchester SO23 / Basingstoke RG22) and part with some beer tokens.

What have you got guys????


Edit....with tyres and tubes would be even better

If you haven't already, try your local freecycle, I'm sure you'll get some responses! Guaranteed to be local as well which helps.

I've got a complete bike you can have, but it's near Aylesbury so probably not worth the petrol. Let me know if it's of interest though.

I bought a complete but tatty mountain bike (with newish tyres) for £5.01 on ebay
and it was 200 yrds from my house
