Seems I got bitten on the arse by rotting fuel line thankfully only on a small section before the pump. So anyone got like a foot of fuel line to spare?

Did you use the right tube?

10mm copper tube with tiny short bits of rubber hose on the ends!
i was sure i was goin g to use hose all the way through, read some stuff on here, now i've got with copper pipe and marine grade hose

It's literally a 2" section between an adaptor and the fuel pump. it was sold as braided fuel line, but seems to have degraded to the point fuel pours out.

Most of the rest is decent tube or copper pipe, no issues with anything but that one section.

i had the exact same problem on my fuel line where it joined the pump at both the inlet and outlet.
line was uk fuel marked and came from a reputable uk spares seller

cut the ends off and connected up again and has been ok since.
mind you, its got no fule left in it as it all leaked out onto the drive from before.

I'm sure I should have some spare chap. IM me your address and it's yours if I still have it.

Payment is an hour on the prayer mat for me on the night of the 23rd July (pre-IVA test day!!)
