As above really
I need a Duratec crank sensor alignment tool.
Can anyone lend me one and Ill send it back once Im done?
Patrick
Just make sure the sensor aligns in the middle of the pin, you can make fine adjustments within the tuning software your using.
take cylinder 1 spark plug out get the engine to tdc. then line the sensor up in the middle of the tooth.
Cheers for the advice guys
Ill try this tonight
Im using Omex 600 and hoping to have it fired up this week, fingers crossed

I asked a while ago to borrow an alignment tool, got the same response as you, So I best guessed the sensor position, the engine fired up straight
away.
I didn't set the engine to TDC first just aligned the sensor centrally on one of the teeth, if it lines up on one, it lines up on them all.
You would only need the engine TDC if you were setting the engine timing and then putting the trigger wheel on. There is a marked tooth that ends up
about 11o'clock if I remember rightly.
To put the sensor on as mentioned you just need to line it up with the trigger wheel, no need to set to TDC.
