WTD: M8 x 50 allen head bolt high tensile threaded all the way
AndyW - 25/9/12 at 04:56 PM

I need 4 M8 x 50 allen cap bolts which have the thread all the way from top to bottom. I also need them to be high tensile. Or if anyone has a M8 x 50 MACHINE SCREW that would be even better

If anyone has any knocking about please let me know

Thank you

Andy

I have edited my want, so as to not cause any confusion.

If you want to be really pedantic, they are actually 'set screws'
machine screws are normally low tensile, and have cheese, slot or pan heads, etc.

To answer the OP, have you tried orbital fasteners? i can recommend them

Al

almost all allen headed ones are grade 12.9 anyway (unless they are stainless) so they are fairly standard item that you should be able to get from any decent bolt supplier

I got similar ones for my driveshafts (M8x50 Gr12.9 ~30mm thread) from a local builders merchants for a few pennys each
