As above wanted power commander for a yamaha r1 5pw 2002/2003 must be USB type

Hi, just thought I would mention that as far as I gather you can use any PC for your engine. I spoke to the Guys who make the new PCV as I bought one for my Zx12 (and modded to fit as they don't make one for the ZX12) along with the very clever Auto Tune unit. The only differences are the loom plugs which are specially made to fit each model. However they all fit between the main junction plug that connects to the ECU. The wiring is actually very simple and much of it bypasses the PC anyway. The wires which do go through the PC are just the 4 from the injectors, one from the TPS and a couple of others which are easy to splice and sort out.
Just a thought, as you may not find one for your particular model !

IIRC, on an R1 5PW, the serial interface will only let you adjust at 500 rpm increments while the USB will let you adjust at 250 rpm increments.

The serial interface will work with a serial to USB lead if this helps.

This is probably the cheapest one around at the moment (but it's in the US)
