Rear Sierra Calipers... or better alternatives...

Noticed my OSR caliper is leaking, but not from the flexi hose... they've seen better days to be honest...

Anyone got any direct replacements, or better alternatives?

I have the hispec ones that Westfield use.. Achieved 28% on hand brake test so unlike the wilwoods the handbrake works...

Alloy Vw ones. Direct bolt on BUT only fit under 15s

I reckon the focus ones are worth a look and try the slider appears to be the same as the sierra one

Keep in mind VW callipers are smaller bore giving less rear braking force.

But they sit on a bigger disc so probably not much in it. They produce enough force to stop my car on their own which well, as I found out when my front m/c failed while driving!
They also are much much lighter.

how about sorting the caliper yourself ?

bigg red sell the seal kit for £22 (and pistons, slide pins etc if needed) - the old sierra haynes manual tells you how to strip and rebuild them...

But if you need guide pins and a piston it works out cheaper to buy a exchange calliper.
