An odd request, but has anyone in the Sheffield / Chesterfield area got a 1/8inch, 3.2mm gas welding rod I can scrounge for a pint or so.

I needed to alter my e type wing, and unrolled the wired edge, but now need an eigth inch rod to re finish it, I can't re use what was there as it is thicker, I unrolled the edge to lengthen it and correct the panel gap, so the resulting roll is smaller.

I've got plenty of 1/16 and 3/32 rods but no 1/8s

I've some 1/8" brazing rods, not local but more than happy to post you a length.

Coat hanger from the dry cleaners might do it.

I have used galvanized fencing wire before, worked a treat.....
